Titles are used to introduce a film, especially a film within the thriller genre. There are various examples within the thriller genre in which make themselves stand out from the crowd.
The first title sequence is of Se7en, in which had been directed by David Fincher, starring Morgan Freeman, Brad Pitt and Kevin Spacey. The way how the title sequence had been shown is within a chilling and dark atmosphere. The editing in which skewers the shots tries to give it the sense of, mystery with what the person is doing and what are his incentives behind all of this, giving it a sense an enigma that is happening within.
